Nvidia Reports Record Quarter as AI Chip Demand Surges

Santa Clara. Nvidia reported record quarterly revenue on Wednesday, beating Wall Street expectations as demand for its artificial intelligence chips continued to surge from cloud providers and enterprises building out AI infrastructure.

Data-center sales led the growth, rising sharply from a year ago, the company said, while its gaming and professional-visualisation businesses also grew. Executives pointed to strong orders for its newest generation of AI accelerators.

Looking ahead, Nvidia forecast another strong quarter, saying demand for AI computing remains well ahead of supply. Shares rose in after-hours trading following the results.
